The Liriodendron is available for weddings year-round, with a variety of packages and settings available to help you create your perfect day!
Our venue can accommodate up to 120 guests for seated dining, or up to 150 for a cocktail-style event. Your rental includes full use of the house and grounds, with several options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions.

The Liriodendron does not provide in-house catering. You may choose from a list of approved caterers to suit a variety of tastes, dietary restrictions, and budgets. All wedding caterers must be full-service, with bartenders having Alcohol Awareness Training and TIPS Certification.
Yes! We have a bridal suite (with private bathroom) and a groom’s room available in the Mansion for you and your wedding party to get ready.
We now also have the option for you to rent the Salon Suite at the Kelly House for extended preparation time for you and your wedding party. The Salon Suite includes professional styling stations, kitchen, bathrooms, and areas for lounging indoors and out. The Salon Suite at the Kelly House is only available for certain types of rentals.
While our rental packages provide for enough time for preparation, you may choose to include additional time to get ready. Most of our packages can be extended at a cost of $300 per hour.

Once you have spoken with our staff and confirmed availability, you will be provided with an electronic contract. Your deposit must be paid within 48 hours of signing the contract in order to confirm your date reservation.
Your caterer will work with you to determine your ceremony and reception location and layout. If you plan on having your ceremony and/or reception outdoors, you and your caterer will develop a back-up plan in case of inclement weather. The Liriodendron has several beautiful locations indoors or on our covered porticos where you can hold your ceremony and/or reception.
While a wedding planner or day-of coordinator is not required, we highly recommend hiring someone to help coordinate your ceremony and reception. Even the simplest of weddings require a good deal of planning, and it’s wise to have someone who can manage the flow of the day and deal with unexpected changes so you can focus on enjoying your wedding!
While the Liriodendron will have a staff person on site, they cannot act as a planner or coordinator for your event.
A limited number of spaces are available in the upper parking lot, with plenty of accessible parking spaces. Our lower lot holds more than 200 cars. We provide an optional fully-enclosed shuttle bus to transport your guests to and from the lower lot.
Event insurance is required for all venue rentals. Your insurance company may provide this for a fee, or we can provide you with guidance in securing insurance.
No. While the Liriodendron is situated on County parkland, the grounds will be closed to the public during your event so you and your guests can enjoy privacy.
A one-hour rehearsal is included in your rental package. While rehearsals generally take place one to two days prior to your wedding date, date and time availability is subject to our events schedule.
