Visiting

You are welcome to tour the house and grounds, visit our Museum, see our art exhibit, and learn more about our historic venue during our weekly Wednesday Open House from 1 to 6 pm, and on the Second Sunday of each month from 11 am to 3 pm, during public-facing events, or by appointment. Our friendly staff will be happy to provide you with a guided tour, answer your questions, and share information on renting the Liriodendron for your wedding, business event, or party. 

Our office is staffed from 10 am to 5 pm daily. Please contact us at 410-879-4424 or info@liriodendron.com to make an appointment, schedule a tour, or inquire about rentals or events.

The grounds are public parkland and are open to visitors from sunup to sundown unless we are closed for an event or rental. Dogs are welcome – please keep them on a leash and pick up after them. Only service animals are permitted inside the house.

Photography

You are free to take personal photos – both inside and out – when you visit the Liriodendron. We love to see your photos and would be happy for you to tag us on social media!

Professional photographers are asked to check our schedule at https://liriodendron.com/contact-pp/ before booking a photo shoot with a client, and confirming availability the week before the shoot, as we often have last-minute events scheduled. Please note that we do not allow professional photography during Open House hours or other events, as this interferes with our guests’ ability to enjoy their visit. 

While our grounds are free to use for photo shoots, donations are encouraged to help pay for our staff time and grounds maintenance. The non-profit Liriodendron Foundation is a 501(c)(3), and we rely on your support to continue providing this free resource. Donations can be made at https://liriodendron.com/donate/ or in person at our office.
