The Liriodendron Foundation is thrilled to have received the 2025 Harford County Historic Special Preservation Award in Communication for our Museum Project! The biennial awards, started in 1995, honor excellence in historic preservation in Harford County.

Members of the Liriodendron Foundation’s Board of Directors were on hand on May 17 to receive the award from County Executive Bob Cassilly. The Historic Preservation Award recognizes our Museum – opened in June, 2024 – which explores the history of the Liriodendron, the life and legacy of Dr. Howard Atwood Kelly and the Kelly family, and their connections with Harford County.

exhibit elements celebrating local history and its impact on our community.
