The Liriodendron is proud to host an exhibit featuring the works of painter Minas Konsolas from October 13 through December 8.
Born in Greece, Minas Konsolas has lived in Baltimore since 1976, where he graduated from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. He is the former owner of Minas Gallery, and now works out of his studio in Charles Village.
Konsolas is known for employing a variety of artistic styles and techniques, which allows his work to continually evolve. His constant focus is how light interacts with color and form. His original artwork and reproductions are widely collected, and has appeared in numerous literary journals and on two public murals in Baltimore City.

The exhibit opens on Sunday, October 13 from 11 am to 3 pm, where you can meet the artist. His paintings will be on view every Wednesday through December 4 from 1 to 5 pm, on Sunday, November 10 from 10 to 2, and on Sunday, December 8 from 11 to 3. The paintings will also be on view during our Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 7.
