Music at the Mansion Presents Gaelic Mishap @ The Liriodendron Mansion
Jun 16 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

A Liriodendron audience favorite, Gaelic Mishap returns for a special Fathers Day performance on Sunday, June 16 from 5 to 7 pm.

Formed in 2010, Maryland’s premier Celtic Rock band blends unmatched vocals and iconic fiddling into Celtic rock, shanties, and traditional Irish tunes. Whether young or old, Gaelic Mishap will wow you with their original music while throwing surprises, or “mishaps”, into the hits and covers you know and love.

Gaelic Mishap has performed at a variety of venues across several states, including the Annapolis Irish Festival, The Hamilton Theater, the Philadelphia Fleadh, the Martinsburg Irish Festival, Washington DC’s Shamrockfest, and many more.  They’ve played alongside or opened for some of the largest national/international acts in the Celtic Scene, including: Carbon Leaf, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys and Gaelic Storm.

Their energetic and lively music will get you dancing! Join us for an evening with a Music at the Mansion favorite the whole family will love! Gaelic Mishap’s performances at the Liriodendron always sell out quickly – get your tickets before they go!

The concert will be held outdoors. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Village Bistro food truck and Independent Brewing Co.

Music at the Mansion Presents Arty Hill and the Long Gone Daddys @ The Liriodendron Mansion
Jul 14 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

We’re excited to welcome Arty Hill and the Long Gone Daddys back to the Liriodendron stage on Sunday, July 14 from 5 to 7 pm.

From Baltimore to Central Texas, Arty Hill packs the bars and dance floors with his unique brand of modern Honky Tonk. He sings with an “‘everyman’ quality…reminiscent of Johnny Cash.” (Vintage Guitar Magazine). His songs – marrying the soul of classic country with the wry storytelling of Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt – have been recorded by the Grammy-nominated Kenny and Amanda Smith Band, Alt-Country pioneer Jason Ringenberg, Rockabilly Queen Bee Marti Brom, and Austin’s Texas Sapphires, among others.

We haven’t seen Arty at the Liriodendron since 2020 when he wowed our audience! The whole family will love this engaging show!

The concert will be held outdoors. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Village Bistro food truck and Independent Brewing Co.

Grounds open at 4:00. Concert begins at 5 pm. Tickets are $20 for adults. Kids 12 and under admitted free, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Music at the Mansion Presents Josh Christina and The Revivals @ The Liriodendron Mansion
Aug 11 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Join us for the return of Josh Christina and his 6 piece band to the Liriodendron stage with an all new show: Josh Christina and the Revivals present “The Ultimate Piano Rock Show” – a high energy tribute to the musical journey of piano rock and roll, covering everything from Jerry Lee Lewis to Elton John, Ray Charles to Billy Joel and more.  Josh has assembled some of the most talented musicians and singers in the mid-Atlantic for this spectacular show.

Josh Christina is living proof that while heroes are remembered, legends never die. Quite literally the last of a dying breed, the piano rock phenomenon is carrying the torch passed down by the genre’s founding fathers; the legacy left behind by pioneers Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley and more will live on through Josh Christina. The piano-wielding front man combines the soul of what was once the most controversial musical movement of its time with his own distinct, magnetic performance style, reaching audiences nationwide and beyond. Having delivered thousands of performances, die-hard fans and newcomers alike agree that Christina is most certainly doing this storied music justice.

Every artist has their influences, but Josh Christina is one of the few who can say he’s won a seal of approval from the peers of his heroes. Famed pianist and band leader Daryl Davis, whose credits include Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, BB King and beyond, said it best when he proclaimed, “in 20th century 1955, it took several young men to create and define Rock ‘n’ Roll. 65 years later and it only takes one young man who embodies all the pioneers to introduce it to the 21st century– that man is Josh Christina.”

Audiences of all ages and backgrounds will love this energetic show!
